UPMC Endocrinology Experts Awarded Sanofi Research Support and NIDDK Grant

Linda Siminerio, RN, PhD, DCES, Jodi Krall, PhD, and Jason Ng, MD, have been awarded Sanofi Research support entitled, “My Dose Coach and Connected Ecosystem Titration & Maintenance In Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus On Basal Insulin.” 

My Dose Coach is a user-friendly digital titration platform that simplifies basal insulin management for health care providers and patients. My Dose Coach combines an easy-to-use mobile app for people with type 2 diabetes and a web portal for health care professionals—helping patients self-adjust their basal insulin doses between clinic visits based on the prescribed dose plan.

Frederico Toledo, MD, has been awarded a National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases U01 grant in collaboration with Dhiraj Yadav, MD, from the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition entitled “UPMC Clinical Center for the Study of Diabetes After Acute Pancreatitis.”
