Dr. Varon received his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. He completed a residency in psychiatry and neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina followed by a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital.
