Dr. Pushpa Viswanathan gives a presentation on the prevalence and risk of malignancy among thyroid nodules in children.

Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the malignancy risk of pediatric thyroid nodule
  • Identify the difference in molecular genetics markers in pediatric differentiated thyroid cancer
  • Identify increased risk of nodules and thyroid cancer and certain genetic syndromes
