The Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh prides itself on delivering the best possible care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients, training the next generation of pediatric physicians, and enhancing our field through high-impact research. Our past and present faculty and trainees are the driving force behind our mission and success, and the innovative, multidisciplinary care for the full spectrum of heart and vascular conditions - from the tiniest patients—those who are still in the womb—through adults with complex congenital heart disease, would not be possible without their efforts.
