About Us

Pulmonologists at UPMC’s Comprehensive Lung Center employ, state-of-the-art diagnostic evaluations to treat patients with a range of pulmonary diseases and disorders. 

CLC facutly are experienced in image-guided biopsy techniques, such as: 

• Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) 
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) 
• Bronchoscopic biopsy 
• CT-guided needle biopsy 

Diagnostic evaluations are supported by a full service physiology laboratory and multidisciplinary expertise in thoracic pathology and radiology, as well as thoracic surgery.  A full range of services for physiologic assessment are available in the Pulmonary Function and Exercise Physiology Laboratory.
