About Our Pulmonology Program

Pulmonologists from UPMC's Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine (PACCM) are among the nation's leaders in treating all acute and chronic lung conditions. PACCM possesses strong translational programs of clinical and research excellence in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute lung injury, interstitial lung disease, sleep medicine, cystic fibrosis, lung transplantation, pulmonary vascular disease, HIV associated lung disease, critical care medicine and the functional genomics of lung diseases.
