At UPMC, we pursue a collaborative approach with referring physicians. We provide options for meeting our team and referring a patient and we are available to:

• Discuss a case by phone, email, or video chat
• Conduct a full consultation, including a review of the patient’s medical records
• Perform a full transplant evaluation to determine if your patient is a candidate

Referring physicians are also invited to join UPMC’s weekly transplant selection committee meeting.
